Abby Marie Sacks
Abby Sacks has been singing along to the radio since she could talk. Her writing started when she was in high school, and she married it with guitar in college. After having years of watching friends perform under her proverbial belt , she released Null as a single on iTunes the summer of 2009, which caught the ear of Michael Weaver and the two formed the group Sangre Luna in 2012. Tracks by Sacks on the Stomp and Shake EP (Woodcrest Studios-Tom Zartler) available on iTunes, Amazon, GooglePlay include a revisited Null, You Break My Heart, and Steel City Blues in which she switches off the drums, onto guitar and her vocals take the lead. In 2017 Sacks found herself in search of a new project and teamed up with frontman Brett Doutre of West Chester rooted band Cardigan Terrace, to form an alt blues rock band called The Bad Novembers. The Bad Novembers’ demos (Noisy Little Critter - Mike Bardzik) are available for a free listen on YouTube. Tracks by Sacks include Poison and Ghost, displaying the ALT part of the band and the progression of the darker side of her writing. Alongside her activity with the band, Sacks still actively plays solo shows, showcasing her material in a more intimate, acoustic atmosphere.
